Ameritex, trends and decoration

Born in the early 90s in Santiago, Chile, American Textiles took the fancy name AMERITEX. In its beginnings, devoted to the wholesale of fabrics imported from the United States, the company soon became the largest provider of textiles coming from that country.

Starting the year 2000 however AMERITEX made a business shift, and started selling exclusively to retail. The store was installed in East Santiago, soon becoming a referent in Vanguard and Design Variety in the `Imported Fabrics´ market.

Due to its growth, in 2006 the company decided to expand its borders, and thus it began importing fabrics from Europe. Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, and Spain joined AMERITEX’s catalogue, providing the largest variety and best prices in the market.
